This project is an implementation of Remote Switch for Electrical Appliances by Android Application Device in which the user can control and monitoring all electrical appliances in their house with computer and smart phone ( android). Figure 1 above illustrates the block diagram of the project. Switch as an input to control electrical appliances (on/off) in the house. Computer also as an input which is it can control and monitor all electrical appliances in the house. Team Viewer software used to remote the computer for control and monitoring the output. For this project there are 3 lamps is used as an output. Lamp 1 indicates for room 1, lamp 2 for room 2 and room 3 for room 3. By creating interfaces between all this equipment, source code is needed for the programming in order to control the system by using PIC microcontroller (PIC16F877A). Besides that visual basic 2008 is used to create the graphical user interfaces (GUI) for computer.  

Week 2

Meting for FYP student at TTL ROOM on Wednesday.

Objective

To finalize our project title for FYP.
To exposed to FYP student about the procedure of FYP.

Content

We need to choose one of the project title listed and the title must be verified by our supervisor.
Meting conduct by Madam Nulida bt Ab.Aziz at TTL ROOM and the meting is for exposing to FYP student about   the procedure of FYP subject.
After doing research and having some discussion with my supervisor, I finally decide to select project title that is "Development of Remote Switch for Electrical Appliances by Android Application Device".
The meeting guiding us on how to enter the FYP website and click on important part. They also alert us about the proposal due date.
Meting conducted are very useful in order to help and guiding student through the finishing task given.

Week 1
