PC Based Controller For Home Automation

     •PC Based Controller For Home Automation via Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. use a home computer to communicate with panel board through the parallel port that interface to devices and allow the user to manage these devices manually or automatically.

  • Manual operation will be through a graphical user interface on a computer that will allow the user to select a device and then change its state whether on or off

   •Relay circuit board will be used to interface between electrical device and Visual Basic and the output from Visual Basic will be transmitted via Parallel Port DB25 to the relay circuit. The circuit will activate the relay. The relay will connect the electrical device to an extension cord. So it will save time and energy for user to control this device.
